Cindy McLeish was elected the Member for Seymour at the 2010 Victorian State election.
Cindy was born and raised in the Seymour region. She has a good appreciation of the needs and concerns of the local area. After completing high school in Yea, Cindy attended Melbourne University and completed a Bachelor of Science and a Diploma of Education. In 2001, Cindy completed an MBA from Melbourne Business School, which she studied part time while juggling work and raising a family.
Cindy was CEO of Women’s Golf Victoria for many years and is now a senior consultant for a leading employment company. Cindy understands the importance of the small business sector in keeping the local economy strong. She is an important part of the local community, being involved in local sporting and health groups.
Cindy is working to improve basic services after years of Labor neglect, including areas such as education, local health services and small business. Cindy is committed to representing the needs of the local community.
